An online greeting I made for a dear friend for Mother’s Day.
Here’s my submission to the new zine by Jillian Barthold, “Bearbook.” The first issue is titled “Teeth.”
I was going for a pearly whites type of theme for my submission and was inspired by some images I found of a tray with teeth whitening inserts. I thought it would be really cool to pair this with some pearls, cause don’t we all want pearly whites?
I wanted to make a video telling people why graphic design is important. I also tell you a little bit about my process when I take on a new project. Enjoy!
P.S. Tell me what you want to see more of in these videos! Humor? Information about graphic design? Random stuff? Tutorials? Vlogging?
Who are you rooting for this weekend? I thought I’d make this little graphic as a tribute to Superbowl weekend. Personally, I’m looking forward to Madonna’s big performance.
I created this in Photoshop with some graphics that I created and a grungy texture that I had. I softened some of the edges around the images so it all kind of blends and looks natural. I wanted to give this a bit of a vintage but still keep it sporty and party themed. Hope you like it!

This is just something I was playing around with. Inspired by the new t.v. show “Smash,” I decided to try creating some text with bulbs lit up similar to the title on the show. I created this in photoshop with a lot of layer and shadows. I decided the dark red background would be fitting, as to create an effect that looked like a red curtain similar to one you would find at at theatre. Finally, I shamelessly stuck my beloved city’s name in there.
Because we just haven’t seen enough of this sort of thing:

Happy New Year!
Hope you are having a good 2012 so far. Here’s another pattern I created in Illustrator. I’ll be creating and posting more soon!

With the new timeline on Facebook, I thought I’d take it upon myself to get a little creative with my cover photo. I created a pattern here with a photograph of a gold bow tie, used a fancy-schmancy brush for the frame in the middle and Marketing Script for the typeface, and whala!
Happy New Year everyone! May your 2012 be amazing and full of happy, good things!
